Tom was musical director and arranger for the Riverdale Share Concert yet again this year. With an amazing house band complete with strings and horns, he got to work with such performers as: Steve Briggs, Jory Nash, Sharon, Lois & Bram, Mary Margaret O'Hara, Russell deCarle,

Michel Bérubé, Luba Goy, Steven Page, Tabby Johnson, Mia Sheard, and many others. It's a magical event and Tom is thrilled to be a part of it.

Jan 8 & 9th "Waring House", Picton, Prince Edward County. (613) 476-7492. Tom Leighton & Conrad Kipping play the Barley Room Pub from 6:30 - 11:00 - ish. This venue is well known for it's award winning cuisine and they have recently built a hotel on site.

Jan 10th "St. Andrews Presbyterian Church", Picton 10:30 Tom Leighton & Conrad Kipping play for Rev. Lynne Donovan's ever interesting service. All are welcome.

Jan 15 & 16th "P.J. O'Brien's", 39 Colborne St. Toronto (behind the King Edward Hotel), 9:00 - 1:00 Tom Leighton & Conrad Kipping. It's always fun to play there. It's a friendly Irish pub with good food and great craic. Big Al Mckinley usually sits in and Rick the manager can usually be coaxed into singing up some Johnny Cash.

Jan 21st "Jake's Boathouse", 59 First Gulf Boulevard (at Steeles Ave and Highway 410), Brampton. (905) 451-9695. Haines & Leighton.help Mike Cuttle and the jakes crew kick off their 30th anniversary. Jan 22 & 23rd "Jake's Boathouse", 59 First Gulf Boulevard (at Steeles Ave and Highway 410), Brampton. (905) 451-9695 It's a reunion of "Mark Haines & the Zippers". It's an entertaining and VERY eclectic repetoire, Mostly rock'n roll based. Marks band used to RULE this place. Feb 27th a DANCE at St. Barnabas Church Hall, Danforth Ave, Toronto (across the street from carrot Common). Tom Leighton leads the amazing combo with Conrad Kipping and a 3rd player TBA.The Toronto Country Dancers are an absolutely wonderful way to spend an evening. All dances are explained prior to the music so you can have fun with little or NO dancing experience. All the music is uplifting. How can you go wrong??? IF YOU COME OUT AND DON'T HAVE A GREAT TIME - TOM WILL PAY FOR YOUR ADMISSION!!!! Feb 28th "St. John's Church" Tom plays the service with Anne Lederman. It's probably the most ecentric congregation in Toronto, and one of the friendliest and most interesting. 10:30 am.

Mar 17th Come and celebrate St. Paddy's Day with Haines - Leighton in a rare Toronto appearance by the duo, and it's at "Hugh's Room", Toronto. 2261 Dundas St. W. PHONE: 531-6604 with Special Guests: TBA Everyone's favorite concert venue. It should be BIG fun and NO GREEN BEER!!
